Customer Reviews

It fits the camera nicely (I use it for a D7000 with a 28-105 3.5-5.6 VR ED lens), and is the right size and weight for what I wanted-- something quite light with little bulk, to protect the camera when I carry it in a backpack. I like the material as well. However, there is a design feature that mystifies me. The case doesn't have a strap, and relies on the camera's strap that runs up from two little slots on the top front of the case. That is fine in concept. The wierd thing is the strap slots are on the wrong side of the case-- for it to hang normally, say around your shoulder, the case will be facing the wrong way. The wrong way from the standpoint of how it looks, how the case sits against your body, and for opening the case. If you turn it around and carry it with the straps closer to your body, as would be normal, it dangles wierdly. Look at the picture-- you can see the slots and visualize the problem.

The product is well made. However, it lacks versatility during the use of the D7000.Functioning with the camera requires the removal and temporary storage of the case in a safe and secure area.Subsequent to using the camera it must be re-inserted into the case or carried as a separate item if the camera is to be placed in use again in a short time frame.
