I needed a camera case for my Canon 40D. I looked at other products but was concerned because they seemed to be a little on the small side. Then I noticed this one because it was larger than the others. I was somewhat reluctant because there were no other reviews, but I gave it a chance and I'm glad that I did. I have a Canon 17-85 lens and it fits almost perfect; maybe just a little wide. It even works well with my Tokina 12-24 wide angle lens, which I was concerned about because it is a larger lens. The only thing it doesn't fit is my zoom, but then again, I didn't expect it to.
The design on this is a little different from the others because there are no Velcro straps. Instead, there is a hole in the front strap that you stretch around the front and the lens goes through. So it is self-closing. I was a little concerned that this would wear out after a while, but it seems to be fairly well reinforced.

There have been complaints that this product is too snug. It fits just fine on my Nikon d200 + 18-55 lens. I was looking for dust protection and a minimal covering for my camera while it sits in my camera bag. This neoprene case does the trick. If you need dedicated protection for you camera get a hard holster. This case might be tight with larger zoom lenses. Wouldn't recommend it in that case. Otherwise, I am happy with it.
