Customer Reviews

This bag fits my Nikon D90 with a 70-300mm attached.
The zipper is a little flimsy but for the price it can pass.

I purchased this bag for $18, so all assessments are with this price tag in mind. The bag is nowhere near the same quality as Nikon or Canon bags, but hey, it's not as expensive either. The padding is adequate but not great. The sides of the bag and the dividers inside are infirm and wobble and bend quite a bit. The support plate that rests at the bottom of the bag underneath the bottom padding is not as firm as those found on higher quality bags and can flex back and forth, so care should be taken when setting this bag down - in other words, don't just drop it to the ground or onto other irregular surfaces with the hope that the protective bottom plate will keep your equipment safe. The bag has five compartments: the main compartment, the front compartment, the two side compartments, and a thin slit along the back that can hold notepads or other flat items. The front compartment does not have any pockets or dividers of any kind. The side compartments are quite small considering the overall size of the bag. These two compartments can hold memory cards or batteries, but you'd probably be hard-pressed to make it hold larger items that normally should fit comfortably into such compartments, such as a battery charger. I had to store one part of my camera's battery charger in one of the compartments, and the other part in the other compartment.
In summary, if you're looking for a robust, well-made and well-padded case to hold your expensive camera or camcorder on a permanent or semi-permanent basis, I'd advise that you loosen your purse strings a little more and go for a pricier (and hopefully better quality) option. However, if you only need an inexpensive item to accommodate your gear for short periods of time or to hold inexpensive peripheral equipment, I'd say that, at around $20, you could do worse than give this bag a try.
