Now, I haven't actually used this in the rain yet, so I'll have to write an update when I get that opportunity, but as far as general construction goes, this product is top notch. I really can't believe It's priced where it is, but I'm certainly not complaining. Total body protection, protected hand access and an entirely clear back make for a very functional product.
I caught this item on sale but even at full price it is worth it. I do a lot of outdoor filming with my 7D and this cover has made shooting in the rain a much less stressful ordeal. My only complaints would be that manual focus/zooming are very difficult with the cover on. Also there is no room for hotshoe mount (but I didn't expect there to be much room).
All in all this is a great product and it appears to be fairly well made. I have used it several times and have had no issues with it whatsoever.
